Spain Is My World

February 4th, 2011

As you can probably see by the title of this article, I must have been perfect! We took two day trips while we were there, one to Toledo and Segovia. Both sites are absolutely beautiful! The tour guides were very helpful and were able to answer any questions we had about the cities we visited or just the country as a whole. We spent most of our time in the city of Madrid is the most populous region of Spain. Believe me when I say “there were people everywhere,” except for naps. It amazed me how many people I see walking the streets of Madrid the day to day. Sometimes what I thought was the end of the day was just the beginning for some.

The thing I most loved about this trip there was about the rich history of Spain, the Roman empire from Spain to the present King and Queen. There was so much to know and what made this better was able to visit the actual sites they said about us. I was able to to visit two of the known art museums in Madrid, the Prado Museum and Reina Sofia National Art Museum. Having the opportunity to see some illustrations by Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso in the person was definitely wonderful. One afternoon, just take a walk in the park The New Beginning, which is thought to be the central park of Madrid.

This was not just any ride because we were really rowing boat. I could go on all the things we did and we were able to see, but what I really want to go through this article is that everyone should get at least one. Even if you think it’s not for you, just give it try because I never thought that I would fall so in love with travel until I actually did it for me. Remember that the resources are there, you just have to take time out to find them!
