International Socialist
Their silver and their gold have musty, and that Rust will be evidence against you and destroy them as fire. They have stacked riches these days, which are the last. The payment that did not give the men who worked in its harvest, is crying out against you; and the Lord Almighty has heard the claim of these workers. Here on earth you have been a life of luxury and pleasures, fatter like cattle, and now comes the day killing! You have condemned and killed the innocent without them against resistance. Today labor day, let’s not forget that we also celebrate Christ in many ways. We do all those and those who have given their lives to conquer the benefits of the working class, by the dead peasants to defend their lands.
We celebrate the day of Christ worker which manifests itself in one way or another in our daily struggles by defeating the wild capitalism. The worker day, commemorating the martyrs of Chicago, sentenced to be hanged for leading a general strike in favor of the eight hour day, that for 18 years governed for public, but not for workers of private companies workers. In memory of these martyrs of Chicago, in 1889, in Paris, the first Congress of the second International Socialist workers decided that on May 1, the beginning of the strike day, be it held worldwide. In 1954, Pope Pius XII supported this day, to declare it feast of San Jose Obrero. Today is a day in which the ledezmas, Fedecamaras, teodoros, Consecomercio, who negotiated the social benefits of our workers and their social and labour benefits abound. We will hear what he says the Apostle Santiago, in a profoundly revolutionary words: Dios has chosen those who in this world are poor, so they can be rich in faith and so that they receive as an inheritance the Kingdom he promised those who love him; you, on the other hand, humiliate them. Perhaps are the rich not who exploit them to you, and who dragged wear them before the authorities? Are they not those who speak ill of the precious name that was invoked upon you? Our commitment is with the poor! Obed Juan Vizcaino Najera. Maracaibo – Venezuela.
